Paloma Lira

Paloma Lira is a young fashion designer, based in Mexico City. She studied fashion design at Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Moda Casa de Francia in Mexico City, and she has made internships at she went to Emanuel Ungaro, Paris, and Zac Posen in New York. After her Paris internship she returned to Mexico and worked over a year with the well-known mexican designer Alexia Ulibarri. After that, in 2012 she decided to start her own brand. Paloma Lira is prêt-a-porter inspired on a contemporary and casual look with a boho-chic spirit for free and modern people who love art, different cultures and decades, but above all, people that enjoy fashion. Paloma Lira experiments with details from the past, combining them with trends and a contemporary touch, always inspired in 60's and 70's, where she finds place for her boho-chic, romantic and sometimes rocker style, creating atemporal pieces. As she is a streetwear lover, she is always doing research and paying attention on how people dress and combine their clothes, that inspires her too to create her collections, where everything adds up with her own ideas and experiences, capturing them in every design, always creating pieces that people can actually wear in real life. Originality, creativity and quality are the characteristics that describe the brand. Knowing that people define and express their ideas and personality with their dress, it has exclusive and high quality pieces. The brand is not mass production, is according to your order, because they are collection colthes and almost everything is limited edition. Paloma Lira always works with photgraphers, graphic and textile designers and artists to create the art and concept of the webpage, the textiles and from the brand in general. Paloma Lira is made in Mexico and she pays well all the work and production. You can shop online here or you can also order via or make appointments to visit her studio via inbox.
