Five years ago there were no independent clothing stores in Monterrey, and nobody really bought Mexican designers’ work. With that in mind, Deya Tarno and her brother decided to create something more than your usual store; a place that proposes a new vision not only on how we dress, but also on what we read, what we buy and where we go. In short, Naked Boutique is a lifestyle. We wanted to have something else instead of our everyday, secure and boring jobs. It wasn’t easy but here we are, still standing.

The brands we carry are mostly Mexican and most importantly, made from start to finish in Mexico, yet we also have some international  brands that assemble in their own countries. We like today’s fashion, but we believe that it’s really important to have timeless, classic pieces that will never go out of style. The clothes we have are relevant in the international scene, but at the  same time they possess a non-stereotypical Mexican identity. Pieces that you could find in the closet of a relevantly stylish individual of any age, in any part of the globe.

Naked Boutique is all about design. The designers we choose to have in the store must have some special qualities in their own right. We’re all about design, no matter where it’s coming from. All of them have great concept and execution, they are unlike any other brand you’ve seen, and you can wear their designs at night or during the day… the choice is yours and not the other way around.

We take pride in the fact that our customers become our friends, and our friends are our customers. Many of them have grown up alongside this thing we love called Naked Boutique. We are people that like fashion, love to dance, enjoy music, travel and art. Our customers and friends know that it’s better to pay a bit more for a piece that is 100% cotton, instead of less for something that has some polyester in it. We only like polyester in some special vintage items.

Right now, our goal for the near future is to have Naked Boutique as a major online selling point for the whole country, as well as in the States, so that the Mexican designers we wear and love can have more exposure and create a stronger national identity, which is sometimes lacking in this country among youngsters..

We live in a very different situation compared to when we started. We know people have less time to go shopping, less time to travel, and the priorities have changed with our current global situation. With all this in mind, we decided to take the next step and go online. So without further delay… Enjoy!
